Responsibilities

Working alongside another ECT and a Co-Educator, your role involves collaborating with families, assessing children’s development, and fostering a supportive team atmosphere.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences for small groups of children
  • Work closely with the ECT and Co-Educator to create a warm and inclusive environment
  • Observe, document, and support each child’s growth and development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the team
  • Maintain a safe and happy learning space that encourages curiosity and confidence

Qualifications

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree and registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) with VIT
  • Holistic approach to working with children, demonstrating commitment to their rights and development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to critically reflect and collaborate effectively
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Australian work rights
