We are seeking a warm, energetic Early Childhood Teacher to support the development of young learners in our toddler and preschool-age programs. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Partner with co-teachers to deliver lessons, guide classroom routines, and maintain structure. Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates. Observe, document, and support individual learning goals. Ensure compliance with Michigan childcare licensing, safety, and quality standards. Collaborate with center leadership to uphold program excellence and classroom consistency. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred. At least 6 months of childcare or preschool classroom experience (1+ year preferred). Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available). Dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education.
