TutorCraft – In-Person Tutor (Senior Kindergarten, Autism Support)
Location: Downtown Toronto (32 Freeland Street)
Pay: $18/hour
Job Type: Part-time, In-person
About the Role
TutorCraft is seeking a patient, creative, and dedicated in-person tutor to support a Senior Kindergarten student with autism (verbal). The student demonstrates strong abilities and requires enrichment in advanced math, reading, and logic skills.
Sessions will be held at the client’s home in downtown Toronto (32 Freeland Street).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in early math, advanced reading, and logic.
  • Adapt teaching style to the student’s strengths, interests, and needs.
  • Create a supportive, structured, and positive learning environment.
  • Communicate progress and learning strategies with the parent/guardian.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in early education (Kindergarten–Grade 1 preferred).
  • Comfort and patience working with children with autism.
  • Strong background in literacy and foundational mathematics.
  • Creative approach to logic and problem-solving activities.
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual.
