Position Description: Following the Head Start Program Performance Standards, the Child Care Partnership Manager provides leadership for the child care staff and collaborates with community child care partners. They oversee education and childhood development; disabilities; eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance; safety, health, nutrition, and mental health; family and community engagement program services; and collaborate with the program coordinator to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, family studies, health services or related field, and a minimum of one year of related experience working with children and families; knowledge of child development and family dynamics; knowledge of community resources; a valid driver license, access to reliable transportation, and automobile insurance coverage.

• Provides training, mentoring, coaching, and monitoring of assigned staff.
• Coordinates team meetings with staff and child care centers.
• Collaborates with Part C for the appropriate provision of Early Intervention services to children with disabilities and their families.
• Manages data and information related to the Head Start Program Performance Standards using ChildPlus and reports this information to the program coordinator.
• Participates with the program coordinator and facilitators in the preparation and update of community assessments, self-assessment, annual report, program information reports, Policy Council reports, and other required reports.
• Participates in the annual program and strategic planning cycles including grant preparation and program procedures; Office of Head Start Region VIII annual site visits and audit preparation.
• Oversees the maintenance of assigned facility including child care centers. Responsible for the ordering, tracking, and storage of related equipment and supplies.
• Participates on the School Readiness Team and assists in the collection and analysis of data related to program components.
• Monitors program operation through the facilitator and staff meetings, and monitors day-to-day operations with staff.
• Collaborates with each center’s director or coordinator to ensure on-site compliance with applicable requirements of the Head Start Act and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Ensures that child care teachers receive appropriate training and education compliant with the Head Start Act and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Recommends to the program coordinator worthwhile conferences and workshops and staff members who might attend.
• Develops and maintains relationships with community partners to ensure appropriate services to participants and collects non-federal match.
