Carmarthenshire County Council’s Children and Families Services have created an Early Help Hub and we’re looking for caring, creative and committed Early Help Support Workers to help families access the support they need, when they need it.
You’ll work directly with children, young people and their families, building strong, trusting relationships that support positive change. You’ll help children and young people feel safe, valued and listened to, while also supporting parents and carers to develop their confidence and parenting skills. A key part of the role will be helping families to strengthen or repair relationships, and to build the stable foundations children and young people need to thrive.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues from across the department, with access to the right support and expertise to help you succeed. Together, we’ll work to keep children and young people safe, families together and communities connected.
We’re looking for people with experience of working with children, young people and families in a social care role, who are ready to make a real difference in Carmarthenshire.
For an informal discussion please contact Lowri Tommason-James at LTommason-James@carmarthenshire.gov.uk or Jodie Evans at jodieevans@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
