Description Progressive Directions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Evaluation Coordinator to support our Early Intervention Services team. This role ensures that evaluations for the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with all state and agency requirements. Key Responsibilities: The Early Intervention Evaluation Coordinator will: Coordinate and monitor the timely completion of TEIS intake and eligibility evaluations Distribute evaluation referrals to appropriate staff Train, support, and supervise Early Intervention evaluators Complete evaluations as needed when referral volume increases Administer and interpret developmental screening and assessment tools Prepare developmental assessment summaries within required timelines Support IFSP development using assessment information Document required information in TEIDS according to DDA requirements Attend state meetings and communicate updates to staff Ensure services are delivered professionally, timely, and in compliance with agency and state expectations Work Expectations: Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed Why Join PDI? Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a qualifying field (Early Childhood, Special Education, Therapy disciplines, or related) OR related degree (social work, psychology, etc.) with at least 1 year of experience working with the birth–to–5 population Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to meet strict timelines and compliance standards Required for Employment Valid, non-restricted driver’s license Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (will be reviewed) Successful completion of a criminal background check Successful completion of a drug screening Must meet all Department of Education and DDA certification requirements
Responsibilities
The coordinator will manage the intake and eligibility evaluation process for the Tennessee Early Intervention System while supervising evaluation staff. They are also responsible for conducting assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the development of Individualized Family Service Plans.
