The Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Early Childhood professionals to join our Early Learning Centre team across our Kew and Donvale Campus's in either an Early Childhood Assistant (Certificate 3 in Early Childhood) or Early Learning Co-Educator (Diploma in Early Childhood) capacity. Working under the direction of the ELC Director and Teacher-in-Charge, these roles contribute to the delivery and development of our high-quality kindergarten program. You will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, while ensuring strong compliance with regulatory, child safety and operational standards. The Average Day: Supporting the Teacher-in-Charge in implementing daily routines, learning experiences and program objectives Assisting with the preparation, set-up and pack-down of activities and materials Working with individual children and small groups in both structured and spontaneous learning experiences Recording observations and documentation as directed Maintaining a safe, organised and welcoming learning environment in line with regulatory and School requirements The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: A Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Demonstrated knowledge of child development and early childhood practices The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Current First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain) A strong understanding of child safety responsibilities and regulatory compliance A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
