We are WSP The Opportunity — Build the Future with Us Step into an early‑professional Junior GIS Analyst role on our GeoAnalytics and Mapping team, supporting a wide variety of unique projects locally and around the world as part of WSP’s Earth and Environment team. You’ll collaborate within one of Canada’s largest Geospatial and Digital Design teams—working alongside GIS technicians, GIS Analysts, Information Managers, Web Developers, Solutions Developers, Drafters, Designers and BIM practitioners—within a global technical community that collaborates, innovates, and grows together. This is a full‑time opportunity where you’ll contribute to multi‑discipline project teams and build your GIS science skills through meaningful work and continuous learning.  Your Impact * Collaborate with multi‑discipline project teams (scientists, engineers, consultants) to deliver GIS support aligned to project requirements.  * Translate project requirements into clear GIS deliverables that support project outcomes.  * Create GIS data from a variety of sources (digital and analog) and convert between file types (text, tabular, CAD, and GIS formats).  * Produce 2D maps, figures, charts, and presentation posters to support proposals and reports across a wide variety of projects.  * Bring data to life using web‑based platforms such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.  * Apply quality assurance and quality control practices while adhering to global company standards, processes, and best practices.  * Develop and implement GIS solutions, contributing to improved workflows and outcomes.  * Build your career through continuous knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring within the team.    The Skills That Set You Apart * A degree or advanced diploma in GIS (or an equivalent combination of demonstrated GIS experience and post‑secondary education).  * At least two years of relevant experience with GIS, particularly ESRI products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS 10.x, extensions, ArcGIS Online/Portal/WebApps) and basic GIS/CAD data formats.  * Strong cartographic skills with the ability to follow standards and communicate complex information in an accessible, attractive manner.  * Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, deadline and deliverable‑oriented environment.  * Experience organizing, analyzing, and mapping field‑collected data.  * Strong verbal, written, and graphical communication abilities, paired with strong organizational skills.  * Ability to document and communicate work in a professional manner.  * Experience developing and implementing GIS solutions (e.g., QA/QC, mobile data capture, geospatial analysis, spatial ETL, workflow automation) is an asset; bilingual English/French is also an asset.    Why Choose WSP?
