Role Specific Information Job Description About the Role As Assistant Buyer Intern you will work in one of Kohl’s Merchant Offices, assist the merchandising team in analyzing the business and learn to drive key pricing and marketing processes while providing operational support. What You’ll Do Analyze assigned lines of business by generating, reviewing and interpreting weekly reporting Learn about in-store and online pricing strategy and execution Participate in marketing conversations, ensuring Kohl’s is represented in a way that supports our product strategies while learning how to execute sample turn-ins for photo shoots, advertising proofing and digital experience reviews Actively engage in competitive shopping, analyzing trends and competitor pricing and marketing Network with over 250 interns participating in Kohl’s internship program at Corporate Headquarters Hear directly from senior leaders through Kohl’s Executive Speaker Series Additional tasks may be assigned What Skills You Have Required Undergraduate Junior majoring in Retail Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing or Management Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team Experience creating, analyzing and manipulating spreadsheets Analytical mindset Adept attention to detail and excellent multitasking abilities Passion for products and customer obsession Essential Functions The requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
