Ballyhoo Boutique Nursery is a warm and friendly nursery offering high quality childcare provision for children aged between 6 months to 4 years. The nursery is situated in the heart of Carlisle with free car parking and excellent access to public transport.
We are now are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Early Years Practitioner. We have a vacancy for a permanent full time or part time member of staff to work the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Hourly rate of pay ranges between £12.21 dependent on age and experience. This can be discussed at interview.
An enhanced DBS is required for this position. Ballyhoo Boutique Nursery takes its commitment to Safeguard and Promote the Welfare of Children and Young People very seriously and expects all staff, students and volunteers to do the same. We aim to ensure that all people working with children are suitable to do so and we are therefore extremely vigilant when recruiting new staff to join our team.

What is expected within the role:

  • Provide high quality care for all children
  • Provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children
  • Plan activities to develop each individual child’s needs and interest
  • Observe, Assess and implement next steps
  • Promote healthy eating and good hygiene
  • Enable the children’s environment to create curiosity
  • To maintain and follow Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Follow and adhere to Safeguarding procedures
  • Be a key person
  • Attend training
  • Work well within a team
  • Have a passion for working with children

working 2-4 days a week, 19 - 38hours, Flexible to cover holidays and absences.
