TO ENSURE THAT ALL SERVICES DELIVERED ARE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY BY:

  • Compliance with policies of Busy Bees (Durham) Ltd but also contributing towards the development and implementation of agreed policies, procedures and good practice guidelines in all areas of work, all of which contribute to our overall ethos.
  • Contributing to the review, evaluation and development of the service offered and contributing to the development of good practice within the service.
  • Reporting any hazard, accident, damage or defect to the management team so that remedial action may be undertaken.
  • Attending training and undertaking professional development activity as identified by the supervision and appraisal process.
  • Personally keeping up to date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice.
  • Be flexible with regards to working and covering extra shifts at both Busy Bees and Busy Bees as required.
  • Act as an ambassador for the nursery and behave appropriately at all times when representing the company in work uniform.
  • Any other duties appropriate to the post as directed by the Management Team and to undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job.

Responsibilities
  • Must hold a relevant and recognised Early Years Teacher Qualification.
  • To work as part of the ‘Busy’ team contributing to the delivery of high quality edu-care services for children and their families.
  • To support the Management in the development of child-centred, exceptional provision for all children.
  • To provide support to all families and ensure the care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs is of the highest priority.
  • To promote the aims of Busy Bees Children’s Day Nursery and embrace the ethos under which it operates - a child-centred approach and an environment which is warm, welcoming and stimulating to all.
