We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Advisory Teacher to join our Early Years Inclusion team. This fixed-term position, funded by the SENDAP Change Programme, plays a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) during their transition into school

THE ROLE
You will work collaboratively with early years settings, schools, families, and professionals to promote inclusive practices and ensure smooth transitions for children with complex needs.
Contribute to the Local Inclusion Support Offer (LISO) and coordinate with the Primary Inclusion Outreach Service. Provide expert guidance to EY settings and Year R provisions on inclusive practices, assessment, and intervention strategies. Support the development of inclusive environments and cultures within primary settings.
Design and implement transition programmes for children with SEND, involving multi-agency collaboration and deliver training sessions in partnership with the wider Early Years team. You will liaise with EY providers, schools, health visitors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective SEND outreach.
Maintain accurate electronic records and produce reports as required. Analyse data and contribute to service development and prioritisation.
Stay informed on national and local SEND initiatives and legislation and uphold equal opportunities, data protection, and safeguarding standards.
