Job title: Early Years Education Adviser
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent, 30 hours
Salary: £21,750-£23,250 per annum - full time equivalent £29,000-£31,000
Schedule: 6 hour shift, Monday to Friday, No Weekends

SUMMARY

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual with experience of working in education and apprentice enrolment. You will be a highly motivated individual with a desire to build relationships and help others to achieve their goals and targets across our Early Years L2, L3 & L5 Apprenticeships, our unique L3 EYE combined with Montessori Diploma and Montessori courses. You will have a good knowledge of the apprenticeship and education sector. You will support each learner through their enrolment by providing Information, Advice and Guidance to guide them through the enrolment process. You will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of all learner enrolment documentation, ensuring all documentation is completed in line with the DofE requirements. You will have excellent organisational skills to ensure enrolment is meeting the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in education and apprenticeship education enrolment.
  • A thorough understanding of the policies underpinning the adult education system and Apprenticeships nationally with the processes required to comply with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules for Apprenticeship delivery.
  • Display an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safe and healthy working practices.
  • Understand and be able to demonstrate a commitment to Equal Opportunities and Diversity.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and spoken English
  • An eye for detail and compliance.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be target driven with previous experience in solutions selling.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete application and enrolment process, including the collection of required documents, verification of eligibility and timely processing.
  • Efficiently manage the enrolment process, ensuring that learners are guided through each step with clarity and accuracy.
  • Conduct informative and engaging conversations with potential employers and learners to understand their training and educational needs, career goals, and any specific requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive information about our training programmes, admission processes, fees, and any other relevant details.
  • Offer guidance on suitable programme’s based on the individual’s eligibility, career aspirations, and learning preferences.
  • Assist learners in completing application and enrolment documentation, explaining any necessary supporting evidence, and providing guidance on the submission process.
  • Address queries and concerns promptly, offering solutions and alternatives when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner information, application statuses, communication history and enrolment data within the learner engagement and enrolment database.
  • Support the Business Development and Sales Manager in ensuring enrolment data is clear of any errors/warnings in a timely manner.
  • Stay abreast of relevant ESFA regulations and accreditation requirements relating to learner enrolment.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy standards throughout the enrolment process.
  • Calling all inbound leads as soon as they are received.
  • Supporting converting leads into prospective learners, aiming to book an appointment no later than 7 business days.
  • Creating opportunities with existing customers through follow up calls and skilfully introducing other products/solutions.
  • To support engagement, development and maintain relationships with external organisations to increase learner engagement and enrolment across all MAA Apprenticeships and Montessori programmes
  • To engage, develop and maintain relationships with predominantly levy but also non-levy organisations to generate levy spend and sales activity across all apprenticeship programmes
  • Liaise with employers locally and nationally to promote MAA as a training provider and in the development of strategies to support the enrolment of Apprentices onto MAA programmes.
  • You will be responsible for the recruitment and enrolment of learner applications onto our programmes
  • Offer quality impartial signposting when required to potential learners that do not currently meet the eligibility criteria or achieve their online initial assessments to the required level.
  • Building strong client relationships that engender trust and sustainability.
  • Obtaining intricate knowledge of each client’s setting to ensure you can offer the best and most relevant solution.
  • Listening to and overcoming customer objections, feeding back to your manager.
  • Delivering against the promises we make to our customers and learners
  • Providing detailed information on courses or products/services.
  • Accurately maintaining all customer details and sales opportunities on MAA’s CRM system.
  • Providing reports to your manager on activity levels.
  • Diarising follow-up calls and providing timely follow-up emails.
  • Managing your inbox effectively, ensuring client enquiries are responded to on the same day.
