REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education is an essential
• Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education is an advantage
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• First Aid - an advantage
• Manual Handling - an advantage
• A working knowledge of Aistear & Siolta

Childcare FETAC 5 Early Years

Assist the Room Leader to implement the following along:

• Providing Total Care for a group children who are in Full Day Care
• Planning the daily activities of the group
• Planning a Curriculum based on the children’s emergent interests
• Ensuring the overall safety and well being of the children
• Attending Training Sessions and Staff Meetings as required
• Administer Medication if and when required
• Adhere to all Policies and Procedures incl. Creche Health & Safety Policy
