Working closely with senior practitioners, your role will include: Planning, leading, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS Supporting and mentoring junior staff or Level 2/3 apprentices, where appropriate Acting as a key person for a group of children, including observations, assessments, and next steps Contributing to learning journals and monitoring children’s progress and development Supporting inclusive practice and adapting provision to meet individual learning needs Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times Building strong professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues Supporting daily routines, transitions, and the effective running of the nursery You will be encouraged to reflect on practice, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting.
