OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development while fostering positive relationships with families.
Nanny McFiFi’s is a small nursery which has recently moved premises and expanded. We are looking for enthusiastic educators who want to make a difference to children and their early years education, who want to work in a small, supportive team.
The post would be for a candidate willing to work 25 hours per week with a work pattern of Monday & Tuesday 8am-6pm and Thursday 8am-1pm/1pm-6pm alternating. We do request some flexibility in helping to cover shifts in the case of sickness or annual leave.
We will only consider applications for candidates with a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above.

SKILLS

  • Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
  • Knowledge of early years frameworks and best practices in nursery settings.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances within the nursery environment.
