As an Early Years Educator you will have responsibility supporting management and staff within the setting to ensure the highest standards. As a keyperson, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ needs. Prioritise the safeguarding of children. Attend parents evening, recruitment/open day events and relevant training sessions. Contribute to and attend training and staff meetings to ensure you are kept up to date with EYFS requirements within the nursery. Build close relationships with parents and carers and report daily on their child’s time at nursery. Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps. Remain up to date with our childcare policies and procedures. Be a team player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted. Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements
