Job Summary:
We are seeking an Early Years Educator to join our team that is dedicated, passionate and professional. As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in their early developmental stages. We are looking for someone with a mature attitude and positive demeanour as your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Observe and assess children’s progress
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child’s development
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and development
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their self-esteem and independence
- Drive continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in childcare or nursery settings
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A level 3 qualification in early years development
