EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR – JOIN THE D-DEE’S FAMILY

D-Dee’s Day Nursery is oversubscribed, and we’re on the lookout for another extra special person to help us deliver the outstanding, high-quality experiences our little people and their families deserve. Could that be you?

We are searching for the perfect person to join our dedicated and passionate team. Do you:

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner / Educator to join our team. We welcome applications from:

• Qualified practitioners (Level 2 or above)

Please note: Successful applicants must also either hold or be prepared to complete the following (we can support this in-house prior to starting):

• A current DBS certificate and registration on the Update Service
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Safeguarding Children Certificate
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

You will also need to have the skills below:

• You can read The Very Hungry Caterpillar 25 times and still deliver it with energy.
• You’re happy being a racing driver, a fairy princess, and a footballer—sometimes all before lunch.
• You see endless possibilities in a cardboard box.
• You never say no to another helping of playdough spaghetti.
• You can juggle hugs, catch falling toddlers, and make someone giggle—all at once.
• You can keep smiling, even after the tenth milk spill of the day.
• You can brave the cold in the garden and still find joy in puddles and muddy kitchens.
• You’ve got a song for every situation—and you’re not afraid to sing it.

We’re also looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, flexible, and full of initiative
• Resourceful, creative, and team-minded
• Open to reflection, challenge, and change
• Comfortable supporting off-site learning adventures
• Able to build strong, empathetic relationships with families
• Confident in contributing to planning next steps in children’s learning
