WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?

• Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
• UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Communication & team working
• Initiative, problem solving & creativity
• Non-judgemental & patient
• Some childcare experience e.g., babysitting

• Supported supervision of children aged 0-11.
• Supervising and monitoring the safety of the children.
• Feeding and changing the children, as needed.
• Planning day to day activities.
• Building strong relationships with parents.
• Keeping records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
• Tidying up play/food area after children.
• Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training
