ABOUT YOU:

  • Hold an appropriate level 3 qualification in early years, or be working towards this (apprenticeship)
  • Carry out work with families in a group situation or within their homes
  • Support colleagues in the running of nurturing children’s groups, which run alongside our parent groups
  • Work collaboratively with parents, other departments within the council and partner agencies
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills

Are you passionate about supporting children and families with children under five?
Bright Start Children’s Centre Services within Bath and North East Somerset are looking for a highly committed Early Years Practitioner to support our service delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Through this role, you will support children and families in various ways including creating safe and stimulating environments for them to learn and develop, promoting positive attachment practice within groups and support the parents as the key educator in their child’s learning and development. You will work closely with families within the groups and provide 1:1 play interventions within family’s homes.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual with at least a Level 3 qualification (or working towards) who has a vision for outstanding practice to join our team. You will have the ability to work in partnership to bring about mutually agreed collaborative interventions.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS SUBJECT TO AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK.
