The Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll work flexibly across nurseries and primary schools (EYFS), supporting children aged 0-5 as they explore, learn, and grow. You'll create engaging play-based learning experiences, support daily routines, and help track children's development in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality activities that promote learning through play
  • Support children's communication, physical, social, and emotional development
  • Carry out observations and contribute to EYFS tracking and assessments
  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for young children
  • Assist with personal care, mealtimes, and rest times as needed
  • Build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and families
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain health and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 2 or above in Childcare/Early Years (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) OR an Early Childhood degree
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development stages
  • Flexibility to work in both nursery and primary school EYFS environments
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Why Join These Settings:

  • Flexibility to work across nursery and primary school EYFS settings
  • Full-time role with stable hours and consistent work
  • Supportive, child-centered environments with experienced Early Years teams
  • Opportunities to grow your EYFS expertise and career
  • Competitive daily rate of £82.14-£100
  • Great locations across North London with easy access by car or public transport
