JOB OVERVIEW

Education Assets Ltd is a specialist recruitment agency supporting nurseries across the UK. We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Room Leads to join the nurseries we work with on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
• Previous experience as a Room Lead or Senior Practitioner (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
• A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable.
• Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

As a Room Lead, you will:

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Support, mentor, and guide a team of practitioners.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating environment at all times.
