Are you passionate about working with children with Early Years and SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities) and making a positive difference in their lives? The Children’s Respite Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our friendly team at our centre in Uckfield.
About the Role:
Position: Early Yeas Educator
Location: Uckfield – Just off the High Street

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, energetic team player who enjoys working with children aged 2–4-year-olds
  • Experience with working with children with SEND is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided.
  • Someone who can help plan and tailor engaging activities depending on the children’s interested and needs.
  • A responsible individual who can supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children is paramount

Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in play environments and connect with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Level 2 in Early Years minimumGCSE 4 or above in English and Math but not essential. Willingness to work on achieving similar
