Early Years Supply Practitioners – Gloucester | Thrive Education

Gloucester & surrounding areas

Flexible work to fit around you

Competitive hourly pay | Weekly PAYE pay

Do you love working with children but want the flexibility to choose when and where you work?

Thrive Education is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our growing team, supporting fantastic nurseries and pre-schools across Gloucester.

Whether you're a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Practitioner, an experienced Nursery Assistant, or have a background in Early Years, we'd love to hear from you!

What does supply work look like?

No two days are the same! One day you could be helping settle new starters into a baby room, and the next you'll be leading messy play, story time or outdoor adventures with a preschool group.

We work with a range of welcoming Early Years settings across Gloucester, offering everything from:

  • Day-to-day supply cover.
  • Short-term and long-term placements.
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities.
  • Flexible work around childcare, studies or other commitments.

You tell us the days you want to work, and we'll do our best to find work that suits you.

Why choose Thrive Education?

At Thrive, we believe in placing professionals, not just plugging gaps.

You'll have a dedicated consultant, who specialises in Early Years and takes the time to get to know you, the settings you enjoy, and the type of work you're looking for.

What you'll get:

  • Flexible work that fits around your lifestyle.
  • Competitive weekly PAYE pay.
  • Opportunities in local Gloucester nurseries and pre-schools.
  • Friendly, supportive consultant from registration through to your placements.
  • Access to a variety of Early Years settings to build your experience.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working within nurseries, pre-schools or Early Years settings.
  • A caring, positive and reliable approach.
  • A passion for helping children learn through play.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but we can help arrange one if needed.
