Salary – Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale + TLR2a + Min SEN
We wish to appoint a qualified, highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Early Years Specialist Teacher to work with children with severe and complex needs from birth to seven years in a variety of environments including Early Years settings and mainstream schools. Support will focus on advice, training, and direct individual and/or group teaching and modelling to meet children’s needs.
You should have a minimum of 5 years post qualification teaching experience of which at least 2 years should be working with children with a range of SEND. You should be fully conversant with the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum. The Early Years Team support children with a variety of needs including SEMH, cognition & learning and communication & interaction needs so extensive knowledge and some experience in these areas is essential, as is an ability to develop excellent working relationships with parents/carers and families.
You will be required to work across the County in accordance with Service need. The post carries an Authorised Car User Allowance so you must hold a full driving licence and have daily access to a vehicle.
