Nursery: Bright Horizons Richmond Queens Road Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: Starting from £31,275.97 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Richmond, London
For this position, we are offering a Welcome Bonus of £1000 (T&C’s apply)
We are looking for a full time, QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualified Teacher to join our Bright Horizons Richmond Queens Road Day Nursery and Preschool, situated in the grounds of Marshgate School in Richmond, and close to North Sheen and Richmond train stations.
Our lovely 66-place setting features 4 spacious and well-resourced rooms including a sensory area for the baby room, and role play areas for the older children. it also benefits from a lovely garden area with play equipment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS) - essential
  • Previous experience working within the Early Years sector
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, that helps all children to develop, and meets their individual needs
  • Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, through supporting the delivery of the key person approach
  • Ensure the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
  • Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
