Your key responsibilities Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair, planning exciting experiences that challenge and inspire every child. Be a leader in education, demonstrating high-quality teaching through N-inspired strategies. Work with managers to develop nursery education and deliver actions from the Self-Evaluation form. Plan and deliver high-quality observations, assessments, and support for all children, including specialist support plans with the SENCO. Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes. Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning. Embed and role-model all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behavioural safety. Stay up to date with Early Years research, bringing fresh ideas to improve children’s learning. Support nursery life with flexibility and positivity to keep everything running smoothly. Our Early Years Teachers should have... Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, apprentice, or early years educator). Full and relevant Early Years teacher qualification (EYT or QTS). Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant. Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly. A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
