Puddle Jumpers - Wapping is a beautiful growing setting in the heart of the leafy green village Wapping and we are looking for an inspiring and warm Early Years Teacher to join our new Pre-School room. The nursery is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Wapping Overground station and is easily commutable from Clapham Junction and West Croydon in the South, Islington in the North and Stratford in the East. It is also a short walk from Shadwell DLR Station. he nursery has many bespoke features including a dedicated Art Atelier for children and staff to express themselves creatively, an inspiring Life Sciences room where children will be given the opportunity to cook using child height kitchen facilities and explore the world of science and a large garden designed to promote our passion for outdoor learning. In addition, a large staff room offers plenty of space for our team to unwind, catch up and relax.
The core of how we learn is through the celebration of expressive arts and we nurture talents through our creative curriculum. We enjoy learning outdoors in both our community and our outdoor learning space.

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 2 or 3 Childcare Diploma (ideally)
• Minimum 1 years experience within a Nursery (Must be within last 18 months)
• Must be able to demonstrate full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
• Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Be responsible and punctual
