compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
This full-time position involves supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, development and well-being throughout the school day, both in the classroom and during outdoor learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children across the EYFS curriculum.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence and social development.
- Support children during classroom activities, play-based learning and daily routines.
- Help maintain a safe, caring and well-organised learning environment.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting.
- A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- A caring, patient and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), are desirable but not essential.
