ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Background in Childcare is essential
  • Recognised assessor qualification is essential
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience within the childcare sector

  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

THE ROLE: EARLY YEARS APPRENTICE TUTOR

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Apprentice Tutor/Assessor with a genuine belief in the power of education to transform lives. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in childcare who are confident in delivering engaging, impactful learning experiences and building trusted relationships with learners and partner organisations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that enables learners to acquire the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to complete their Apprenticeship Standards and vocational qualifications
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessments, using a range of teaching and coaching strategies aligned with national frameworks
  • Provide personalised support, liaising closely with nurseries and employers to ensure that training meets workforce needs
  • Manage scheduling, lesson planning, administrative tasks, and maintain compliance with current education policies and procedures
  • Contribute to learner success by meeting qualification achievement targets
