Description

Would you like to play a key role in further developing logistics procurement within an international corporate group? As a Procurement Specialist (m/f/d) – Transport & Logistics, you will translate purchasing strategies into concrete results and be responsible for procurement topics in the areas of warehouse logistics, air freight, sea freight, road transport and parcel services.

Together with operational departments and external partners, you will identify optimization potential, conduct tenders and contribute to making our logistics solutions more efficient, competitive and future-proof.

And because building something new requires courage, speed, and energy, one thing is essential: a positive team culture. For us, humor, shared laughter, and strong cohesion are natural parts of working together.

About the company

The DLG Group is one of Europe's leading cooperatives in the food, energy, and building materials sectors. Our mission is to create long-term added value for our agricultural owners and for society – through reliable products, innovative solutions, and sustainable growth in all our business areas. With approximately 7,000 employees in 18 countries and based on our cooperative structure, we shape our future through shared values, sustainable goals, and a firm belief in the power of collaboration.

Team SE, headquartered in Flensburg, is an integral part of the DLG Group. Our central corporate functions are organized across locations, from Flensburg to the DLG headquarters in Fredericia. Together, we support the business units across national borders and contribute to an efficient, integrated, and future-proof organization that optimally leverages economies of scale and synergies.

Tasks

  • You will analyze and document the existing logistics landscape in the assigned business units together with the operational stakeholders. In doing so, you will focus particularly on activities, costs, and quality across all logistics segments (warehousing, air freight, sea freight, road transport, and parcel shipping).
  • You will support the development and implementation of the logistics purchasing strategy within the DLG Group.
  • You plan and conduct transparent tendering processes – from defining requirements to supplier selection and negotiation, all the way to implementation.
  • You continuously monitor logistics markets, cost developments and supplier structures, thereby creating a sound basis for strategic and economic decisions.
  • You build trusting relationships with suppliers, manage their performance, and develop long-term, strategic partnerships.
  • You work closely with internal stakeholders and ensure that business requirements, purchasing objectives, and group-wide specifications and guidelines are optimally aligned.

profile

  • At least 5 years of operational professional experience in logistics on the client side or at least 2 years of professional experience in strategic or operational procurement of logistics services on the client side.
  • A completed degree, for example in business administration, economics or a comparable field related to purchasing or supply chain management, is advantageous, but not a requirement.
  • You combine economic thinking with empathy and manage to bring together and balance different interests.
  • You communicate openly, honestly and reliably – both internally and externally.
  • You negotiate confidently, consistently, and at the same time fairly and respectfully.
  • You have fluent German skills and very good English skills.

our range

  • You will be given creative freedom to actively develop processes and topics.
  • You benefit from short decision-making processes and close collaboration across different areas.
  • You work in an international environment with a global focus.
  • You are building a large international network of suppliers and internal stakeholders.
