The Earthwork Operations Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of the Earthwork Operations regionally. The Earthwork Operations Manager will partner with Senior Leadership to set the overall direction and focus of the Earthwork Operations group to best meet the regional goals and objectives. This position will be based either out of our San Diego, CA office or Newport Beach, CA office with travel required to jobsites in the surrounding area as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Self-Perform Grading/Earthwork Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management/Engineering required.
  • Direct experience leading multiple construction projects in excess of $20M.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management
  • In-depth knowledge of intricate commercial construction principles/practices required.
  • Experience leading multiple successful project teams, including development of direct reports, and maintaining relationships with external entities.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction principles/practices required.Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work.

    For Southern California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $115,000 - $175,000 depending on experience. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
