Provide optimum quality of care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, offering support to the multi-professional team. Occasionally may take management responsibility for the unit if required during a given shift. Opportunities are made available for all staff for training and development in endoscopy related courses and JAG accredited national training. Accountable for own actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct.
Contribute to corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times. Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional team Demonstrate technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient care management including; patient observations; equipment management and administration of agreed invasive tests/procedures
