Position Overview: The role involves teaching the Eastern Armenian language to highly motivated and engaged adult professionals.

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a highly proficient speaker of the Eastern Armenian language.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, languages, literature, foreign language teaching, philology, or a related field.
  • Possess experience teaching the target language to adult learners.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Armenian culture and society.
  • Be proficient in one or both of Canada’s official languages (English and/or French).
  • If the Bachelor’s degree is not in a relevant field, have a minimum of 500 hours of experience teaching the target language to adult learners.
  • Be adept at using information and multimedia technology, as well as mobile devices.
  • Be located in Europe or Armenia.
