Description The Eat Well Restaurant, located inside the Even Hotel, is looking for an PM Cook to work 4:00PM - 11:00pm. This is a great job for a student or anyone looking to pick up a little extra cash! Sunday and Monday evenings are definite with a possibility of other shifts if available. Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. Assist as counter attendant as necessary. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers. Date all food containers and rotate as per Graham Hotel System’s Hospitality standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Maintain inventory log, facilitate ordering of new product, and observe FIFO rotation procedures. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages. Daily cleaning of dining area and prep area including guest dining tables and kitchen area. Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers. Can communicate well with guests. Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time. Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
