Job Description 🚀 The Job Mission This is a hybrid role, with three days a week based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office. We can only consider candidates living within a commutable distance, though limited relocation support may be available. You’ll take the lead on fire detection systems within a major nuclear project, ensuring supplier performance, design compliance, and technical integrity from design to delivery. Responsibilities: Resolve technical queries between suppliers and the client Support the contract lead through design and procurement stages Follow equipment manufacture, testing, and on-site delivery Review supplier technical documents and surveillance reports Manage risks, opportunities, and design change requests Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces for fire detection systems Validate and track modifications using dedicated tools Qualifications 🛠 Skills & Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering Knowledge of fire detection and protection standards Experience in instrumentation equipment design or procurement Strong background in technical document review and supplier follow-up Familiarity with UK/EU electrical standards Experience in heavy industries such as nuclear, power, or oil & gas Additional Information 🌟 This is your opportunity to help shape the UK’s clean-energy future, working within a team that delivers engineering excellence on globally significant nuclear projects.
