Responsibilities
  • They develop, implement and monitor the Safe Systems of Work that we use.
  • They are “hands on” with the safety and standards of workmanship in our workplaces.
  • They are responsible for putting your people to work.
  • They have responsibility to check that the workplaces in which you place your workforce are acceptable and safe.
  • They have responsibility to check that adequate controls are in place to reduce risk.
  • They must supervise your workforce.
  • They must ensure they understand the essential safety requirements.
  • Keep up to date with electrical legislaton, Codes and standards and ensureall emplouees in your charge are up to date with any changes or admendments
  • Have Experience of an understanding of both High and low voltage electrical systems
  • Have practical experience and skills in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of high and low voltage electrical systems
  • Be knowledgeable in the type of tools, materials and equipment used in the electrical trade and their correct us
