North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre was established in 2001 and is co-located with North Shore Veterinary Hospital. NSVH was built in 1935 and is the longest standing Veterinary hospital on the North Shore of Sydney. We are a 24/7, 365 day a year facility with specialists in critical care, internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dermatology, dentistry and exotics, a bustling and supportive emergency department, as well as a progressive general practice.In early 2019 we moved to a brand-new state of the art, purpose-built facility. We have full in-house laboratory equipment, comprehensive diagnostic imaging including 2 ultrasound rooms, digital X-ray, a 128 Slice GE CT scanner and new MRI installed early 2022. Our team is vibrant, friendly and passionate about the services we offer.Specific to ECC our hospital boasts a dedicated ICU, cot bed, specialised oxygen cages, multiple mechanical ventilators, bed-side blood gas testing, thromboelastography machine, Thora-Seal capabilities and a feline blood bank. Located in the North Shore of Sydney we are the perfect base for beaches, sun and decent coffee.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The opportunity will provide the successful applicants with the chance to improve their clinical experience, learn new veterinary skills, work alongside a friendly team of vets in a caring and supportive environment lead by our Criticalist, Kerry Doolin. We are seeking veterinarians who are client-focused, practice evidence-based medicine at a high level, enjoy working in a growing team environment.
