JOB OVERVIEW Under the direct supervision of the Senior ECD Officer, the ECD Program Officer will be responsible for providing operational, administrative, and field-level support to ECD program activities. This role ensures that all logistical, procurement, and administrative processes are effectively managed, while also supporting implementation quality through regular field visits, follow-up with partner CBOs, and coordination with relevant ministries and stakeholders. The ECD Program Officer will play a key role in strengthening program delivery by supporting training implementation, monitoring field activities, and ensuring alignment with national partners. The position will be based in Amman with frequent field travel across project locations. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operational and Administrative Support Prepare monthly logistics and procurement plans for all ECD activities. Ensure execution of logistics and procurement plans and availability of required materials. Monitor ECD stock on a monthly basis and track inventory. Prepare and process documentation related to procurement, purchasing requests, and payments. Ensure all financial and administrative documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Track and monitor budget lines and submit monthly reports (PR tracking, payments tracking, needs). Field Implementation and Program Support Conduct regular field visits to training and implementation sites to monitor progress and support quality delivery. Follow up on training implementation, including attendance, logistics, and adherence to planned content. Provide on-site support and guidance to partner CBOs to address operational and programmatic challenges. Collect and document field feedback to inform program improvements and adaptive planning. Support the rollout and follow-up of ECD and SEL training activities. Coordination and Partnerships Coordinate with relevant ministries (MoE, MoH, MoSD) and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth implementation. Support organization and facilitation of coordination meetings with partners and stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with partner CBOs to ensure effective implementation and reporting. Contribute to strengthening partnerships and ensuring alignment with national priorities. Other Support needs assessments and follow-up on program requirements as needed. Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior ECD Officer. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Position Reports to Senior ECD Officer Position directly supervises: non Key Internal Contacts: ECD/Education leads, Supply Chain Department, Finance Department, Program Coordinators, Program Managers Key External Contacts: Relevant stakeholders, e.g., Ministry of Education, UN bodies, local and national authorities JOB REQUIREMENTS Relevant higher national diploma or university degree or equivalent experience. Approximately 3 years of professional experience in logistics, program support, or related fields. Experience working on education or ECD programs is an asset. Experience coordinating with government entities and stakeholders is an asset. Strong written and oral communication skills (Arabic and English). Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work effectively in a team. Willingness and ability to conduct regular field visits across different locations in Jordan.
