The ideal candidate will have experience with child development, supervision, and education. We are looking for candidates experienced in the Montessori Method to act as director of the classroom.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• ECE/ECEA certification
• Montessori training, teaching certificate, degree in child related field are preferred
• Current first aid certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven success in working with students
• Experience with special-needs students
• Broad knowledge of conflict resolution methods
• Criminal Record check is required (requisitioned by the employer)

OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physically able to lift up to 22kgs (50 lbs) unless otherwise specified
• Able to perform related physical and mental activities and participate in all classroom related activities
• Able to work in a highly active physical environment
