Description
Do you want to teach in a centre where relationships are genuine, learning is hands-on, and every age group has a space that truly supports them? We are looking for a Registered Teacher to join Busy Bees Pukekohe and help tamariki grow as confident, curious learners in our nurturing, community-focused centre. About us Busy Bees Pukekohe is a community-focused centre where meaningful care comes first and teachers are genuinely supported to teach. Our environments are designed to nurture every stage of development, from the calm, primary-care approach of our Pūkeko nursery through to the adventurous, child-led learning you’ll see in our Tui and Kiwi rooms. We are not about ticking boxes. We are a team committed to genuine relationships and holistic wellbeing. You will see this reflected in our Nourish programme and in our ongoing journey toward the Healthy Heart Award. While we are proud to maintain the warmth and feel of a local Pukekohe centre, being part of the Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau means you are backed by a national network that is dedicated to professional growth, pay parity and creating a supportive environment where you can flourish. About you: You hold an ECE or Primary qualification with current NZ teacher registration. You bring warmth, clarity and steady energy to your teaching, and you love building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau. You are confident planning, assessing and responding to children’s interests, and enjoy working collaboratively in a team that values creativity, communication and care. Why you’ll love it here: Full Pay Parity! Discounted childcare You’ll have access to a generous PLD budget and genuine mentoring. We provide monthly wellbeing support, access to EAP, and cover the costs of your annual flu vax and First Aid certification. Comprehensive induction, mentoring and coaching and ongoing opportunities for career growth and personal and professional development If this sounds like the next step in your teaching journey, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and cover letter. Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. We are an Accredited Employer Why Work for Busy Bees? If you’re passionate about early learning, Busy Bees is the place to be. Although we are part of a global organisation, our company was founded by three families looking for better, more enriching childcare. Three decades later, we still keep the same values at heart. We know that we couldn’t do what we do without the important people in our teams. We invest in our people and work with them to build career pathways that inspire. Join our whānau If you’re looking for a new centre to call home, Busy Bees Aotearoa may be the perfect fit for you! Early Childhood Education attracts a special type of person. You might be known for being creative, nurturing or task focused… but ultimately, you were attracted to Early Childhood Education because you care deeply for the education of the littlest members of our communities. We understand this because this is what attracted us too. We want to gather people who care deeply about quality and empower people to bring their unique gifts and talents together for the benefit of our tamariki. We value each member of our team, and know that by supporting you in your journey, you’ll be the positive and supportive influence in theirs. Across the variety of our centres and Support Office we’re looking for passionate, dedicated, and committed people who love what they do. Have a look at our latest opportunities, we’d love to hear from you!
