OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to assist in the delivery of instructional materials and provide support to students, particularly those with special educational needs. This role is essential in helping to create an engaging and effective classroom experience.

SKILLS

• Strong command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with students and staff.
• Leadership qualities to guide and motivate students during learning activities.
• Experience in childcare or working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with special education practices and strategies to support diverse learners.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within the classroom setting.
• Background in early childhood education is preferred, demonstrating knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices.

• Assist teachers in preparing and organizing instructional materials and classroom resources.
• Support the educational development of students by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers on individual student needs.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Engage with students during activities, encouraging participation and fostering a love for learning.
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special education needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities as required.
