Qualifications and Experience:

  • A strong passion for the ECEC or Early Childhood Industry (preferably 3+ years)
  • Experience in teaching or training is essential
  • Continuing professional development requirements of the professional body to which they belong
  • A relevant vocational qualification at a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education (ECEC) or equivalent.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an ECEC Workplacement Assessor to join our team in Brisbane (July 21 - September 26).

Due to the growing demands for our courses, we are seeking sessional work placement assessors to conduct workplace visits and assessments on our campus. This position is 4 hrs per student visit. For the right applicant, this role could become a Trainer and Assessor role in our growing college. The role requires you to:

  • Support students during their work placement terms and liaise with the student, host organization and ALG
  • Conduct workplace visits whilst the students are on placement
  • Monitor, conduct, and mark student assessments in the workplace
