Position: Echocardiography Technologist
Status: Monday - Friday
Wage: $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience. There is a $250 Retention Bonus for successfully working 90 days
Site: Apex Cardiovascular Services, Peterborough, Ontario.

Description:
Small Town Peterborough Community Clinic, with great family oriented working environment, where quality is regarded above quantity. If relocating to Peterborough for this job, assistance in securing primary care provided. Position is eligible for sick day benefits.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be a graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program
At least one year Canadian experience as a professional Cardiac Sonographer
Stress Echo capabilities preferred.
Candidate must be registered with CMRITO, and Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
Current BCLS CPR certification is required.
Proof of current police criminal record check
Required Skills:
Performs Rest, Stress and Contrast Echocardiography procedures efficiently, in a fast paced environment.
Left handed scanning.
Proven computer literacy for preliminary reporting.
Preference given to experience in EMR environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities
Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team.
Demonstrates commitment to professional development
Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
