Description Now Hiring – ECHO Technologist Location: Southwest, FL - various locations Status: PRN Schedule: Monday - Friday with flexible hours Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 14 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking an Echo technologist with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience. Job Summary for ECHO Technologist: The ultrasound echo technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound for ultrasound diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Performs all specialty areas of ultrasound exams to include assisting radiologists with procedures. Prepares and reviews images for radiologist / physician interpretation for diagnostic purposes. Requirements ECHO Tech Requirements: Required: Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) from CAAHEP accredited program Required: RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI credentialed/registered (eligible if not yet graduated) in appropriate ultrasound specialty. Required: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and not less than 6 months practical ultrasound experience required. Required: Vascular registry (if not already) within one year of hire. Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Desired: Minimum of 6 months practical experience as a full-time sonographer with vascular experience and vascular registry is desirable Desired: Minimum of 3 years' practical experience as a Full-Time Echocardiographer is desirable.
