Description Now Hiring – Echo Technologist Location: Del Prado, FL – On-site (805 Del Prado Blvd.) Status: Full time Schedule: 7:15am - 3:45pm Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. Job Summary for Echo Technologist: The echo technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound for ultrasound diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Performs all specialty areas of ultrasound exams to include assisting radiologists with procedures. Prepares and reviews images for radiologist / physician interpretation for diagnostic purposes. Requirements Required: Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) from CAAHEP accredited program Required: RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI credentialed/registered (eligible if not yet graduated) in appropriate ultrasound specialty. Required: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and not less than 6 months practical ultrasound experience required. Required: Vascular registry (if not already) within one year of hire. Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Desired: Minimum of 3 years' practical experience as a Full-Time Echocardiographer is desirable.
