Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Echocardiography Technologist position is to provide high-level confidential direct patient care by performing non-invasive echocardiography studies on in-patients and out-patients (older adolescent to end life), maintain equipment, arrange services, and assure appropriate documentation and continuous quality improvement based on age and development status. Measurement criteria is “as observed by the Chief Echo Technologist” unless otherwise indicated. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Responsible for delivering high‑quality, confidential patient care through the performance of non‑invasive echocardiography studies for both in‑patients and out‑patients, ranging from older adolescents through end‑of‑life stages. Ensures proper operation, maintenance, and scheduling of echocardiography equipment and related services. Completes accurate documentation for all procedures and supports ongoing quality‑improvement efforts tailored to each patient’s age and developmental needs. Performance is evaluated based on criteria observed and assessed by the Chief Echocardiography Technologist. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound School or Echocardiography Technology program. At least one (1) year of experience in a hospital setting. One (1) year of experience in cardiac ultrasound, ECG, stress echo, and T.E.E.
