Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an Echocardiology Technician for a full-time acute care role in Hot Springs, Arkansas within a cardiology services department. POSITION OVERVIEW • Performs echocardiography procedures in an acute care setting • Works within cardiology services team • Supports physicians with diagnostic imaging COMPENSATION • Salary Range: $59,259 – $89,107 BENEFITS • Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employees • Life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, short- and long-term disability • Paid family leave and paid time off • Higher education and certification tuition assistance • Loan assistance and 401(k) retirement package with company match • Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs (including gym memberships, virtual care, mental health services, discount programs) • Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities SCHEDULE • Full-time • Monday through Friday • 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM • 50/50 call requirement for nights and weekends ROLE • Perform ECHO procedures according to professional standards • Review patient history and prepare patients for procedures • Educate patients on procedures • Administer contrast media when ordered • Monitor patient status during procedures • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment • Ensure safety and quality control standards • Analyze imaging results and address quality concerns • Enter and transmit reports and scan results ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting • Cardiology services department • Fast-paced clinical environment Requirements • Cardiac Sonography training REQUIRED • BLS certification REQUIRED • Echo Registry certification preferred OR registry-eligible (must obtain within one year) • Carotid training preferred • Associate’s Degree preferred • Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently REQUIRED • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment REQUIRED Not ready to formally apply?
