Ecologist, BNG and PEA, COR7207
Are you a dedicated ecologist with a strong interest in biodiversity and habitat enhancement? This could be your next great opportunity!

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking an Ecologist with a focus on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) to carry out protected species assessments, ecological baseline surveys, and Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs). You’ll also contribute to BNG assessments and support projects involving habitat design and ecological restoration. With a strong focus on sustainable land use, they provide services that range from initial site surveys to full habitat restoration. As part of this close-knit team, the successful candidate will be instrumental in building and shaping a newly established ecology division.
The position is ideally suited to applicants located in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, or Nottinghamshire and requires a full UK driving licence due to frequent travel.

  • A valid UK driving licence
  • A flexible approach to travel and fieldwork
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
